In tango, you know, you need to FEEL SOMETHING…

BRIEFLY

Hello, my name is Olga and I love tango.

WORDILY

I was born in Moscow, live in Montreal and travel around the world following the Call of Tango. With tango in my hands I have no foreign lands in this restless global migration.

I have been dancing tango since 2009 and teaching since 2013. I danced for the tango play “Oblivion”, which was on stage in Russia and Lithuania in 2012, performed at Festival Classique des Hautes-Laurentides (Quebec) in 2014, performed and gave classes at the International Tango Festival in Finland in 2016. At the moment I am giving classes in North America, Russia and Europe.

Aside from tango my dancing experience is supplemented by classical and contemporary ballet, gymnastics and yoga.

Tango is the never ending way of perfection – I take every chance to learn from the best dancers and teachers. Among them – Juan Carlos Copes, Nito & Elba, Roberto Herrera & Laura Legasque, Veronica Palacios & Omar Quiroga, Sebastian Arce & Mariana Montes, Horacio Godoy, Alejandra Mantinan, Sabrina & Ruben Veliz, Carolina Bonaventura, Los Totis, Moira Castellano, Sebastian Achaval & Roxana Suarez and many others.

I am teaching tango, which is accessible to anybody – I focus on connection, music and the pleasure of dancing. For me the basics of “social” tango mean that you are comfortable and safe with yourself, your partner and people around you on the dance floor.

I want all men to feel confident to say what they mean to say. I want all women to feel their natural power to be themselves. And I wish all of us to be open, to be present, to have every cell of our bodies smiling when we dance. Because in tango, you know, you need to feel something…
